Bluespoon AX2
May 3rd, 2006 by Owen JohnsonI finally upped my geek quotient by purchasing a bluetooth headset for my cellphone a few months back. After fairly exhaustive research, I went with the Bluespoon AX2 by Nextlink. I’m happy to report that it was easy to pair with my Treo 650, and that it has worked very well over the past few months. Every so often, I have to re-pair the devices, but based on other Treo 650 bluetooth issues, I suspect this is a problem with the Treo and not the headset.
The AX2 is extraordinarily small and comfortable to wear. Sound quality seems to be as good as it gets over Bluetooth with minor static only at the end of the day when batteries are running low.
I’ve dropped it a few times, with only one incidence where the device broke. Customer service via email was prompt and led me to send the AX2 in for repair or replacement under warranty. Although I had to send it to Denmark, I had a new unit back in my hands in less than 10 days. I was impressed and definitely recommend the device and the company.

Wow, I also bought a bluetooth headset for my cellphone. Mine’s from BMW. Quite an experience.
Hope all are well.
